Rocky Mountain Brew Runs combines Colorado's love of craft beer and running. Each brewery run is followed by a beer olympics, and usually there is a theme like the Onesie brew run or St. Patrick's Day. Many races are dog friendly, which makes these brewery runs a great activity for Denver dog owners.
The New Year's Resolution run we attended was $35, and although participants were given a bib and number, the race was not timed or competitive. These brew runs are a great fit for leisure runners and those starting their training because it is a laid back, fun event and everyone is supportive.
Each race also typically includes a beer after you cross the finish line. Vendors like cross fit gyms have stations to give away promotional items and deals to keep your brew fitness going. You can see a list of upcoming events on their beer run calendar.
