Denver’s Best Hockey Bars
Updated June 15, 2022
If you’re heading to an Avalanche game at Ball Arena you can grab a drink at Brooklyn’s and watch in person. For the rest of us, finding a lively bar to cheer on Denver’s hockey team (or out of state teams) is a more practical way to cheer on the Avs. Denver is home to many great sports bars, but these are the top choices for watching hockey.
Sobo 151
South Broadway is home to Sobo 151, a Czech bar and grill known for watching hockey, singing karaoke, playing pac man, and having a jolly old time. For hockey lovers this ‘check’ bar (get it? it’s a hockey term) is a great place to watch the action.
Tom’s Watch Bar
Located at Coors Field, Tom’s Watch Bar may be known as the official bar of the Rockies. However, Tom’s is a great place to catch playoff and big hockey games with plenty of TVs and sound. In fact, you can rent a simulator to practice your slap shot for $25/hour.
