Lakewood CO Outdoor Basketball Courts

If you’re looking to shoot hoops in Lakewood, Colorado, there are plenty of free outdoor courts to sharpen your game. Many of Lakewood’s free basketball courts are listed on the city’s parks and rec website, but here are a list of our favorites.

Addenbrooke Park

Addenbrooke Park is a large park spanning from downtown Lakewood all the way to Kipling. The park has soccer fields, baseball and softball fields, a pond, connections to trails, covered picnic areas that you can rent, and of course, basketball courts. There’s also an outdoor fitness center on the Belmar side of the park. There are free parking lots in the park.

Lakewood Park

Lakewood Park is adjacent to a popular disc golf course, as well as Lakewood’s finest sand volleyball courts. This large public park also has tennis and pickleball courts, baseball and softball fields, and basketball courts. There is a free parking lot on the west side of the park near Kipling north of Alameda.

Jackson Park

Jackson Park has basketball courts, baseball and softball fields, as well as a football field that you can rent.

Carmody Rec Center

Carmody Rec Center is arguably Lakewoo'd’s best parks and rec facility. There is a large rec center with multiple pools, an indoor track, and an outdoor basketball court.

Daniels Park

Daniels Park is on the fringe of Lakewood and Golden, perhaps in an overlooked area of Lakewood. This means this park tends to be less crowded than the larger, more popular parks like Addenbrooke.

Estates Park

Estates Park is technically in Golden, not Lakewood, but worth crossing the city limits to shoot some hoops.
