Visit Colorado National Monument

Colorado National Monument is location on the Western Slope between the cities of Grand Junction and Fruita. There are entrances from both cities, and you can enter on one side and exit on the other. There is a dinosaur exhibit on the Fruita side that’s a popular stop for families. If you have avid hikers in your group, there are many trails to explore off of the National Monument loop. The nice thing, however, is if you have non-hikers in your group, they’ll still be able to enjoy the sites from the car or at one of many scenic overlooks.
